So last Saturday so a crowd of us headed to the above, and despite being torn away form the warmth, other friends and alcohol, we entered in to the unique world of one Mr. Tim Burton. Talented beyond belief, this man covers every base of creativity I have ever known; from acting, writing, pencil drawings, paint, acrylics, cartoons, theatre and movie work, puppetry, scripts, directing, producing, designing, and on and on...
Well worth going to see, it's sadly spoiled by having no photography allowed (copyright madness again-sigh) and one factor that is not really this show's fault... It's flippin' jam packed with other people!Make sure you go on a quiet week morning or lunchtime, as we literally had to queue to see the majority of work, and to get in. And it's that good you'll want to really get to look at all the work. The ACMI and MOMA in New York where this just came from, and who presents the exhibition, have done an awesome job with the whole of the ACMI decked out in Burton-esque features inside and out, along with one Batmobile parked inside : )
