Photos - Adelaide. Underrated, Chilled, and packing some awesome wine.

Tracey and I took a short trip in September 2010 to Adelaide for our Anniversary. Only now just getting round to sorting photos, but over five days we went around several wineries (hic), ate out around the many excellent places in the city centre, and m'lady got to go to the the zoo to see Pandas. Adelaide is a great place, and still amongst the top ten cities in the world for quality of living, with some great shops and restaurants, and is definetly a five out of ten on the busy scale when compared to Melbournes mental eleven out of ten.

Don't let that put you off, a more relaxed pace is just what were after at the time, and Adelaide really is a great place to chill out, take your time and savour that wine : P

Facebook-Photos 60 Billion. Picasa-7 Billion. Flickr 5 billion. 'Don't tag me bro!'

Media_http8mshcdncomw_fxdnb

All great if you don't mind facebook, and just upload happy snaps to the site. However if you choose to close up shop and you try and get them out their walled garden if it all goes tits up in the future... good luck!

Certainly facebook has a poor track record of getting anything OUT of it's site so far, but many will likely not care. And with so many images anyway, were never going to get to see them all anyway, are we? I mean who is going to want to see those snaps of that night...y'know, the one the nun and the donkey brought the mayonnaise round?

I'll just keep mine on Picasa & flickr thanks Mr. Zuckerberg : )

Picasa gets even more amazing. Make a 'face movie' and make your wife cry like I did.

Look before I get hate mail, I didn't intend her to cry, and it was 'happy tears' I'm told.
Yet like the movie sample above, you can see that this can be a very emotional and pretty stunning feature.

I've raved about and promoted Picasa (over twenty five times on this site alone) over the years so I think you get the message I like it, yes? Good.

Google engineers make it incredibly simple to use, and I simply clicked on T's face, pressed a button, and boom, ten years of hairstyles, some embarrassing outfits, and friends along with her in the middle.

Powerful stuff.

I don't get paid by Google (currently) but this is very, very worth trying out. This release (3.8) turns a piece of software in to a deeply powerful and emotion rich tool, adding a layer of experience for the user that most software rarely goes near.

Just have a box of tissues handy when you use it : )

Photos - Whitehaven Beach, Queensland Australia

Whilst on holiday recently, we stopped off at Whitsunday Island. It reportedly has 6km of the finest sand in the world. Reason being it consists of nearly 100% pure Silica which gives it a truly bright white colour. Apparently it was used in the construction of the Hubble telescope it's just that good.

Sadly the videos I shot are just unbareable to watch due to the reflection, so picture slide show is all I have below, but even they don't do this beautiful beach justice.

Photos - Triple Whammy Birthday

To celebrate a triple birthday, myself and two good friends held a movie themed party last weekend, and while my head still hurts, it was definetly a total and utter blast. I'm blessed by some truly amazing friends on this side of the world, who not only looked stunning, but helped it be just an awesome night for us all. Thanks to the ever fab Red Monkey too and thier fine ass cocktails! Good times. Photos - Anniversary Balloon.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, the day we met, and the day that we came to Australia, Tracey and I took an early morning Balloon ride across Melbourne. Followed up by a Champagne breakfast and cupcakes of all things, an awesome day. Click on the slideshow below or this posts title to view the album.
